I was born and raised in Dominican Republic, where I got a Computer Science B.S. in 2004. Halfway into that degree, I noticed I spent more time designing how my applications looked than how they worked.

That's when my love for design began.

I spent many nights and weekends teaching myself interaction and web design, and I was hooked.

Then I heard about Full Sail University, one of the most prestigious schools in the world for creatives, and I knew I had to go there. My dream came true and I moved to Orlando, FL. That same week in 2005, I was "welcomed" by 3 hurricanes! (What was that about?).  

I got a degree in Digital Media, and upon graduating, was hired by Full Sail to design their online learning platform.

Equipped with skills in the best of both worlds, programming and design, I started a web design business. 

Since then, I have worked with over 100 clients.

Over time, my knowledge and appreciation of user experience (UX) grew. Unlike web design, which is mostly about visual appearance and aesthetics, UX design deals with creating easy, efficient, relevant and all-round pleasant experiences for the user. UX is now it is my focus when it comes to design.

After all, pretty websites go to waste if users can’t quickly and effectively find what they’re looking for or take the action you want them to take.

Looking back, I am thankful to have found such fulfilling work at an early age.

My love of creative problem solving, communicating with visuals, and designing positive user experiences are only one part of my passion picture. 

I learned very quickly that an emphasis on strategy and the business side of entrepreneurship was the only way I could grow my business.

I searched for helpful resources to point me in the right direction, but I struggled to find any that explained things simply, so I figured things out by trial and error.

The systems and platforms my business was built on also needed to be designed for growth.

Now my passion is two-fold. It started as a love of design, but it's grown to a love of helping other entrepreneurs turn their ideas into online reality. 

So breathe a sigh of relief, because I'm here to serve my design and user experience skills, and help you leverage my favorite platform for building websites. You will finally be confident that your business runs on a strong foundation without blowing your budget.
